Exploration Projects

The philosophy guiding our exploration efforts can be summed up in an old adage well-known in the mining industry:

'The best place to find a mine is in the shadow of a headframe.'

Bearing this principle in mind, Decoors Mining Corp. actively advances a diverse array of mineral exploration projects throughout British Columbia. Each project is strategically situated near established or historically productive mining areas, offering distinct prospects for potential mineral discoveries.

Our current projects include:

  • Tatsamenie, adjacent to the past-producing Golden Bear Mine, holds promise for the discovery of rare earth and gold targets in a Carlin-type setting.

  • Titan, situated across the lake from the Engineer Gold Mine, reveals intriguing indications of porphyry copper-molybdenum mineralization.

  • Cabin Lake, 15 km south of Endako Mine, shares geological similarities with the significant Blackwater gold project.

  • Otter Creek, a lode-gold discovery, is believed to be part of the source of the gold-rich Atlin placer mining camp.

  • Palm Springs, situated immediately west of Eskay Creek Mine - once the highest grade gold mines in the world.

  • Sidina, covering several past producers that contributed to the rise of Silver Standard (SSR Mining).

  • The Topley project, located within the Babine porphyry belt and along the same trend as the Morrison, Granisle, and Bell deposits.

Each project presents an intriguing blend of exploration opportunities and, collectively, they shape a diverse portfolio exemplifying our dedication to harnessing the geological potential of British Columbia. These projects represent opportunities for us to immerse ourselves in the challenging yet exciting process of exploration. With a relentless pursuit of understanding and a commitment to rigorous fieldwork, we strive to identify potential mineral deposits hidden beneath these landscapes.
